Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Phayao Shares Technology for Using High-Efficiency Microorganisms in Fermenting Durian Peels for Beef Cattle Feed
From September 17-20, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Choke Sorajjakul and Dr. Kanchai Danmak from the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), organized a workshop titled “Low-Cost Animal Feed Production for Beef and Dairy Cattle Suitable for Community-Based Feed Centers” at the Rayong Provincial Livestock Office and Rayong Animal Breeding and Research Center.
The goal of the workshop was to transfer technology on the use of high-efficiency microorganisms to ferment durian peels into feed for beef cattle, providing a method to reduce feed production costs and promote sustainability for local farmers. Over 30 farmers participated, gaining valuable knowledge on how to utilize locally sourced materials, such as durian peels, to create animal feed. The training was supported by the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA) for the fiscal year 2023.
This training marked a significant step in bringing modern technology to enhance feed production efficiency while supporting the economic stability of local farmers.

การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีการใช้จุลินทรีย์ประสิทธิภาพสูงในกระบวนการหมักเปลือกทุเรียนเป็นอาหารโคเนื้อ
วันที่ 17-20 กันยายน 2567 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.โชค โสรัจกุล และ ดร.ขรรค์ชัย ดั้นเมฆ ร่วมกับ สวทช. จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “การผลิตอาหารสัตว์ต้นทุนต่ำเพื่อเลี้ยงโคเนื้อ-โคนม ในรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมต่อการผลิตในระดับศูนย์อาหารของชุมชน” ณ สำนักงานปศุสัตว์จังหวัดระยอง ศูนย์วิจัยและบำรุงพันธุ์สัตว์ระยอง โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้แก่ เกษตรกรในพื้นที่จำนวนกว่า 30 ราย เพื่อให้สามารถลดต้นทุนอาหารสัตว์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ภายใต้ทุน สวก. ปีงบประมาณ 2567
