Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, Hosts "Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries" Workshop in Collaboration with SEAFDEC
On September 21-22, 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), organized a workshop for students from the Department of Fisheries Technology and Innovation. The workshop, titled "Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries," took place in room CE10204 and was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanyanan Sunthornprasith, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, alongside faculty members and students.
The purpose of the workshop was to educate students on the concept of sustainable fisheries management, particularly focusing on the role of gender in fisheries development. Additionally, it emphasized the integration of environmental, economic, and social sciences to equip students with the skills needed to effectively manage fisheries resources in a sustainable and gender-inclusive manner.
This workshop provided a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge and understanding of fisheries resource management by incorporating gender dimensions into sustainable environmental practices.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ "Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries" ร่วมกับ SEAFDEC
เมื่อวันที่ 21-22 กันยายน 2567 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้ร่วมมือกับ ศูนย์พัฒนาการประมงแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (SEAFDEC) จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการให้แก่นิสิตสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมการประมง ในหัวข้อ "Gender Mainstreaming in Fisheries" ณ ห้อง CE10204 โดยมี ผศ.ดร.กัญญาณัญ สุนทรประสิทธิ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์และนิสิตเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
การอบรมครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้นิสิตได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับแนวคิดของการจัดการประมงอย่างยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะในมิติของเพศสภาพ (Gender) ซึ่งส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาทรัพยากรประมงในด้านต่างๆ นอกจากนี้ยังเน้นการบูรณาการวิชาการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เศรษฐศาสตร์ และสังคม เพื่อให้นิสิตสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรประมงได้อย่างเหมาะสมและยั่งยืน
การอบรมในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความรู้และความเข้าใจในประเด็นการจัดการทรัพยากรประมง โดยผสานมิติทางเพศเข้ากับการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน
