School of Agriculture and Natural Resources Participates in the Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony 2024 at Wat Si Khom Kham
On November 7, 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, took part in the Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony 2024, organized by the University of Phayao at Wat Si Khom Kham, a royal monastery located in Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Wiphanporn Nuengmek, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, along with deputy deans, assistant deans, faculty members, and staff who attended the ceremony in unison.
His Majesty the King graciously bestowed the Royal Kathin Robe and its accompanying offerings to the University of Phayao, to be presented to the monks who had completed their three-month rainy season retreat at Wat Si Khom Kham. The procession was led by Professor Emeritus Attapol Yaisawang, President of the University Council, accompanied by university administrators, students, distinguished guests, and participants who carried the Royal Kathin Robe to the temple with great honor.
The Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony proceeded smoothly, with Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presiding over the offering. The event reflected the university's dedication and reverence in upholding the beautiful Buddhist traditions and strengthening the bond between the community and the educational institution.

พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมพระราชทานผ้าพระกฐินพร้อมบริวารพระกฐินประจำปีพุทธศักราช 2567 แก่มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เพื่อน้อมนำไปถวายพระภิกษุสงฆ์จำพรรษากาลถ้วนไตรมาส ณ วัดศรีโคมคำ พระอารามหลวง ตำบลเวียง อำเภอเมืองพะเยา จังหวัดพะเยา โดยศาสตราจารย์พิเศษอรรถพล ใหญ่สว่าง นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา นำขบวนผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา นิสิต แขกผู้มีเกียรติผู้เข้าร่วมงาน อัญเชิญผ้าพระกฐินพระราชทานไปยังวัดศรีโคมคำ จากนั้น รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภกร พงศบางโพธิ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เป็นประธานถวายผ้าพระกฐินพระราชทานของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
